Quick Teller

Our audio response Teller gives you access to your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • transfer funds between your accounts,
  • transfer funds to make loan payments
  • get balance inquiries and checking account history.

To gain access you need a Personal Identification Number and your account number. To obtain a PIN and a Quick Teller operating brochure call 203-237-6424 Ext. 5.

When entering your account number please include the middle check digit for example 55555-5.

Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit enables you to have your entire paycheck, Social Security check or other recurring check automatically deposited at your credit union account on payday.

  • eliminates standing in line to deposit your check 
  • worrying about your check being lost or stolen if you’re out of town

The credit union will administer loan payments, deposits to savings or checking for you.

Debit Cards

Make cash withdrawals, purchases and make balance inquiries from your savings or share draft (checking) account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Night Deposit

Make safe and convenient after hours deposits in the night depository located on the exterior of the credit union building at 285 Broad St., Meriden, Ct.

Courtesy Pay

Courtesy Payment is an overdraft program that allows members with direct deposit to overdraw their checking account to predetermined limit of $500.00.  The credit union will pay an insufficient funds item and assess a $15.00 insufficient funds fee.  Courtesy Pay is not meant to be an line of credit and excessive use will result in the credit union revoking the privilege.

                                                                                         

To be eligible a member must have a checking account in good standing and be on direct deposit of their payroll.   The maximum limit per member is $500.00 or the amount of their direct deposit, whichever is less.  The overdraft must be paid within 15 business days.  If payment is not received within 20 days an additional fee of $15.00 will be assessed.

 

The credit union may revoke the Courtesy Pay privilege at any time.   The member may opt out of the Courtesy Program as well.  If you do not wish to have the Courtesy Pay available to you please notify a Member Service Representative at 203-237-6424 ext 5.

 

Disclosure:

Meriden Schools FCU may refuse to pay an overdraft at any time, even though we may have previously paid the overdrafts.  The account holder will be notified by mail and/or email of any Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) items paid.  Meriden Schools FCU has no obligation to notify the accountholder before we pay or return an item.  The amount of any overdraft(s), plus all applicable fees and charges on an account, are due and payable upon demand.  If we pay an overdraft on an account with more than (1) owner on the account, each owner is jointly liable for such overdrafts plus NSF and/or Courtesy Pay charges.
